BioVerde Technologies Sdn Bhd was established in 2025 as a subsidiary of the Sarawak Biodiversity Council, with an expanded mandate — tasked with transforming Sarawak's extraordinary biodiversity into globally competitive products.
Operating at the intersection of cutting-edge science, indigenous knowledge, and global commerce, BVT manages the Sarawak Bioindustrial Park, stewards three consumer brands — LitSara®, NatureSara®, and AdenoSara® — and provides commercial access to SBC's Natural Product Library, one of Southeast Asia's most comprehensive, built over 26 years of research by the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre.
The company works alongside the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (the research arm) and operates under the Council's formal Access & Benefit Sharing framework with 26 indigenous communities, ensuring fair returns and transparent benefit sharing through blockchain-enabled traceability.
